In this workshop, participants will explore how to drive productivity, creativity, speed, agility and retention of employees by creating a culture of engaging the whole employee.  The whole employee includes not only an employee’s specific job skill set, but also their experiences inside and outside the workplace, their total knowledge and skills, emotions, life experiences, personality, priorities, and beliefs.  While it is well known that the engagement of the whole employee generates competitive advantage and superior results, successful whole employee engagement across corporations has been elusive at best.  We’ll explore a scenario that has worked successfully and extract the principles and practices you can use to develop a culture of whole employee engagement in your organization.
In the workshop, participants will learn the following:
  • The 3 fundamental needs of fully engaged employees and how to meet those needs
  • The importance of culture to a corporation and to your employees
  • The manager’s role in promoting full engagement at an individual level including trust and relationship building, engaging emotions, self-awareness, openness, candor, effective communication, coaching, radical empathy and engaging passion
  • The manager’s role in driving full engagement at a group level including modeling behaviors, establishing a presence, creating safety and openness, encouraging dialog, evolving mindsets, and creating group culture
  • Common dynamics that can derail the creation of a culture of whole employee engagement and how to redirect them
This workshop is ideal for team leaders, supervisors, managers and anyone in leadership that seeks to have a lasting positive impact on the culture of their organization.
